"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
It's been a few days, so you might have figured it out by now; but in the upper right-hand corner of every deviant's gallery page is an option that says 'watch this deviant.' Click on that, and it'll take you to a silly screen asking just exactly how you'd best prefer to stalk them.
To be honest, I don't spend a ton of time on dA at the moment...I just moved from South Texas to Tacoma, WA yesterday. A little overwhelming, I've got to admit.
